Summer Dance Workshops / Age: 7 - 11
We have on offer 4 x 2-day workshops that includes games, dance movements and choreographic tasks for young people aged 7 - 11. Spin, jump, and slide whilst learning choreography from Ascension Dance Artists before having the opportunity to make something that is uniquely yours.
Day 1 - Introduction to Ascension style of Contemporary Dance
Day 2 - Make and share your work in a performance for your friends
Get creative, challenge yourself and feel supported in 2 days of fun, high energy movement.
Summer Dance Workshops / Age: 12 +
Join us for an exciting 2-day workshop designed just for young people aged 12+. Dive into a world of choreography, and movement led by Ascension Dance Artists.
On the second day, showcase your talents in a special performance for your friends and family, highlighting the incredible potential of Coventry's young dancers.
Come ready to get creative, push your limits, and have a blast in two days packed with high-energy movement and support from fellow dancers!

Eligibility for free school meals and have an HAF Code?
Sign up via the HAF portal to book your place and for you child to receive a free hot meal on their workshop days.
Inclusion
Although we aim for all our sessions to be inclusive in the style of dance that we provide, the sessions mentioned above are aimed at young people who are able to follow steps and engage in creative dance tasks. We recommend checking out our inclusive dance sessions if your child has complex additional needs.
